Say: "O my Lord! if Thou wilt show me (in my lifetime) that which they are warned against,- 93 My Lord! then place me not among the wrong-doing people. 94 Assuredly, We are able to show thee that We promise them. 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We are Best-Acquainted with the things they utter. 96 And say: My Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from suggestions of the evil ones, 97 I even seek Your refuge, my Lord, lest they should approach me." 98 (But the unbelievers will persist) until when death comes to one of them he will say: "O Lord, send me back again 99 Haply I may do good in that which I have left. By no means! it is a (mere) word that he speaks; and before them is a barrier until the day they are raised. 100 So when the trumpet is blown, there shall be no ties of relationship between them on that day, nor shall they ask of each other. 101 Then those whose balance (of good deeds) is heavy,- they will attain salvation: 102 And the ones whose scales prove light – it is they who put their lives into ruin, remaining in hell forever. 103 The fire shall scorch their faces, and they will remain dejected in it. 104 "Are you not those to whom My revelations were recited, and you dubbed them as lies?" 105 'Lord' they will reply, 'adversity prevailed over us and we were erring. 106 Lord, take us out of this and if we sin again, we shall certainly be unjust". 107 He will say, "Be quiet and say nothing." 108 You are those that when a party of My servants said: 'Our Lord, we believe, so forgive us, and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of those that are merciful,' 109 but you made them a target of your derision to the point where it made you forget all remembrance of Me; and you went on and on laughing at them. 110 Indeed, I have rewarded them this Day for their patient endurance - that they are the attainers [of success]." 111 They will be asked: "How long did you live on the earth in terms of years?" 112 They will say: "We stayed a day or part of a day: but ask those who keep account." 113 He will say, “You stayed but only a little, if you knew.” 114 Did you think that We had created you only for play, and that you would never be returned to Us' 115 So exalted is Allah, the Sovereign, the Truth; there is no deity except Him, Lord of the Noble Throne. 116 Hence, he who invokes, side by side with God, any other deity - [a deity] for whose existence he has no evidence - shall but find his reckoning with his Sustainer: [and,] verily, such deniers of the truth will never attain to a happy state! 117 And say thou: my Lord! forgive and have mercy, and Thou art the Best of the merciful ones. 118
