Are ye harder to create or the heaven which He hath builded? 27 He raised its ceiling and proportioned it. 28 Gave darkness to its night, and brightness to its day; 29 and the earth-after that He spread it out, 30 And brought forth therefrom its water and its pasture; 31 then set-up firmly the mountains. 32 A provision for you and for your cattle. 33 But when there comes the greatest catastrophe (i.e. the Day of Recompense, etc.), 34 The day when man will call to mind his (whole) endeavour, 35 And Hell made visible to him who can see, 36 then he who transgressed 37 And preferred the life of the world, 38 Verily, his abode will be Hell-fire; 39 But as for him who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from lust, 40 shall dwell in Paradise. 41 They ask you about the Hour: “When will it be?” 42 (Muhammad), you do not know (when and how) it will come. 43 Towards your Lord only is its conclusion. 44 Thou art only the warner of him who fears it. 45 On the Day when they behold it, it will be as if they had lingered but an evening, or, a morning. 46
