Man is prone to say: "Shall I be raised to life after I die?" 66 Will the human not remember that We created him before when he was not a thing? 67 So, by thy Lord, without doubt, We shall gather them together, and (also) the Evil Ones (with them); then shall We bring them forth on their knees round about Hell; 68 Then We will surely extract from every sect those of them who were worst against the Most Merciful in insolence. 69 And certainly We know best those who are most worthy of being burned therein. 70 And there is none among you who shall not pass over hell; this is an obligatory affair, binding upon your Lord. (Allah will make everyone pass over the back of hell – on a thin bridge.) 71 Then We will save those who feared Allah and leave the wrongdoers within it, on their knees. 72 And when Our manifest revelations are rehearsed unto them, those who disbelieve say unto those who believe: which of the two portions is better in station and goodlier in company? 73 And how many a generation have We destroyed before them who were better in possessions and [outward] appearance? 74 Say: As for him who remains in error, the Beneficent Allah will surely prolong his length of days, until they see what they were threatened with, either the punishment or the hour; then they shall know who is in more evil plight and weaker in forces 75 God further enlightens those who seek guidance. To those who do charitable deeds which produce continuing benefits, your Lord will give a better reward and a better place in Paradise. 76 Hast thou then seen the (sort of) man who rejects Our Signs, yet says: "I shall certainly be given wealth and children?" 77 Has he peeped into the Unknown, or obtained a promise from Ar-Rahman? 78 Absolutely not, We will record his words and prolong his punishment. 79 And We will inherit of him what he says, and he shall come to Us alone. 80 For [such as] these have taken to worshipping deities other than God, hoping that they would be a [source of] strength for them. 81 By no means! They shall soon deny their worshipping them, and they shall be adversaries to them. 82
