Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
The food of the Zakkum tree 43 shall be the food of the guilty sinners. 44 It is like pitch. It will fume in the belly 45 Like the boiling of hot water. 46 [A voice will cry], "Seize him and drag him into the midst of Hell. 47 "Then pour over his head the torment of scalding water." 48 'Taste! Surely thou art the mighty, the noble. 49 Surely this is what you disputed about. 50 Surely those who fear and follow the straight path will be in a place of peace and security 51 amidst gardens and springs. 52 robed in silk and brocade, set face to face. 53 Thus shall it be: and We shall espouse them to fair, wide-eyed maidens. 54 They shall call therein for every fruit in security; 55 They will not taste death therein, except the first death; and He will preserve them from the torment of the Flaming Fire. 56 as a bounty from your Lord. That will be the mighty triumph. 57 We have made the Quran easy for you to recite so that perhaps they may take heed. 58 Wait thou then; verily they also are waiting. 59

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
