The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the snorting courses, 1 then raise sparks of fire (by their hoofs), 2 by the dawnraiders, 3 and blaze a trail of dust, 4 Then rush thereby upon an assembly: 5 VERILY, towards his Sustainer man is most ungrateful 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 And most surely he is tenacious in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Is he not aware of the time when the contents of the graves will be brought out? 9 And all what lies in the breasts is opened – 10 Most surely their Lord that day shall be fully aware of them. 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
