The pious ones will receive a beautiful Paradise from their Lord. 34 What! Shall We treat those who have submitted (to Our command) like those who have acted as criminals? 35 What aileth you? How foolishly ye judge! 36 Or, have you a Book from which you study 37 That indeed for you is whatever you choose? 38 Or do you have oaths [binding] upon Us, extending until the Day of Resurrection, that indeed for you is whatever you judge? 39 (Muhammad), ask which of them can guarantee that on the Day of Judgment. 40 Or have they other gods? Then let them bring their other gods if they are truthful 41 On the Day when the truth shall be laid bare, they will be called upon to prostrate themselves, but they will not be able to do so. 42 Their eyes humbled, humiliation will cover them. And they used to be invited to prostration while they were sound. 43 So leave to Me those who reject this message. We shall lead them step by step to their ruin, in ways beyond their ken. 44 A (long) respite will I grant them: truly powerful is My Plan. 45 Or do you ask from them a reward, so that they are burdened with debt? 46 Or is the Unseen theirs that they can write (thereof)? 47 So wait with patience for the judgement of your Lord, and do not be like (Jonah) of the fish who called (to his Lord) when he was choked with anger. 48 Had the favor of his Lord not come upon him, he would have been blamed, cast upon the shore. 49 But his Lord chose him and made him of the righteous. 50 Hence, [be patient,] even though they who are bent on denying the truth would all but kill thee with their eyes whenever they hear this reminder, and [though] they say: "[As for Muhammad,] behold, most surely he is a madman!" 51 And it is nothing but a Reminder unto all beings. 52
