The day We shall summon all men with their leaders, whosoever is given his record in his right hand will be able to read his account, and none will be wronged the breadth of a thread. 71 Whoso is blind here will be blind in the Hereafter, and yet further from the road. 72 They indeed sought to entice you away from what We revealed to you, hoping that you might invent something else in Our name; and then they would have accepted you as a close friend. 73 And had We not made you stand firm, you would nearly have inclined to them a little. 74 then We would have let you taste the double of life and death; and you would have found none to help you against Us. 75 Their purpose was to scare thee off the land, in order to expel thee; but in that case they would not have stayed (therein) after thee, except for a little while. 76 This was Our tradition with Our Messengers who lived before you, and you will find no change in Our tradition. 77
