۞ And We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Journey along with My bondmen within the night, for you will be pursued.” 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops) 53 [bidding them to call out his troops and to proclaim:] "Behold, these [children of Israel] are but a contemptible band; 54 And most surely they have enraged us; 55 and we are a host on our guard.' 56 We deprived them (the unbelievers) of gardens, springs, 57 And treasures and honorable station - 58 Even so. And We gave them as a heritage to the children of Israel. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and when the two groups saw each other, Moses' companions said, "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Said Moosa, “Never! Indeed my Lord is with me, He will now show me the way.” 62 Then We revealed to Moses: 'Strike the sea with your staff', so it divided and each part was as a mighty mount. 63 And We brought near thither the others. 64 and We delivered Moses and his companions, all of them, 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 67 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 68
