Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

Competition in [worldly] increase diverts you 1 Until ye visit the graves. 2 Lo! presently ye shall know. 3 Then no! You are going to know. 4 No indeed; did you know with the knowledge of certainty, 5 For ye will behold hell-fire. 6 Then you shall most certainly see it with the eye of certainty; 7 Then you will surely be asked that Day about pleasure. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
