Say: O my Lord! if Thou shouldst make me see what they are threatened with: 93 Then do not, O Lord, put me among the sinners." 94 We have certainly the power to make you see what We have promised them. 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We are Best-Acquainted with the things they utter. 96 And say: O my Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from the evil suggestions of the Shaitans; 97 And I seek refuge with Thee, my Lord! lest they may be present with me. 98 (In Falsehood will they be) Until, when death comes to one of them, he says: "O my Lord! send me back (to life),- 99 so that perhaps I shall act righteously for the rest of my life." Although he will say so but his wish will never come true. After death they will be behind a barrier until the day of their resurrection. 100 When the trumpet blast is sounded no ties of lineage will hold among them, nor will they ask after one another. 101 Then he whose balances shall be heavy - these! they are the blissful ones. 102 And as for him whose good deeds are light, these are they who shall have lost their souls, abiding in hell 103 The fire lashes their faces and therein are shriveled lips. 104 'What, were My signs not recited to you, and you cried them lies?' 105 They will answer, "Lord, misfortune overcame us and we became an erring people. 106 "Our Lord! Bring us out of this; if ever we return (to evil), then indeed we shall be Zalimun: (polytheists, oppressors, unjust, and wrong-doers, etc.)." 107 He shall say: Go away into it and speak not to Me; 108 There was a group of my servants among you who always prayed: Lord, forgive us and grant us mercy; You are the best of those who show mercy. 109 But you made a laughing stock of them to the point where it made you forget My remembrance; and you went on laughing at them. 110 Surely I have rewarded them this day because they were patient, that they are the achievers. 111 He (Allah) will say: "What number of years did you stay on earth?" 112 They will say: "A day or less than a day. Ask the enumerators of numbers." 113 He will say, "You stayed not but a little - if only you had known. 114 Do you think We created you for nothing, and that you will not return to Us?" 115 So exalted be Allah, the True King; no god is there but He, the Lord of the honorable dominion. 116 And whoever invokes with Allah another god-- he has no proof of this-- his reckoning is only with his Lord; surely the unbelievers shall not be successful. 117 Say, "Lord, forgive us and have mercy. You are the best of those who show mercy." 118
