And certainly the warning came to Firon's people. 41 but they belied all Our signs so We seized them with the seizing of the Mighty, Powerful. 42 Are your disbelievers better than those, or have ye some immunity in the scriptures? 43 Or do they say: "We are a group united, [and therefore] bound to prevail"? 44 Soon will their multitude be put to flight, and they will show their backs. 45 But the Hour is their appointment [for due punishment], and the Hour is more disastrous and more bitter. 46 The evil-doers are victims of error and madness. 47 The day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire: 'Taste now the touch of Sakar!' 48 Indeed, all things We created with predestination. 49 And Our commandment is but one (commandment), as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And certainly We have already destroyed the likes of you, but is there anyone who will mind? 51 All their deeds are recorded in the Scrolls; 52 And every small and great [thing] is inscribed. 53 [Hence, too,] behold, the God-conscious will find themselves in [a paradise of] gardens and running waters, 54 In an Assembly of Truth, in the Presence of a Sovereign Omnipotent. 55
