▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I swear by the setting of the stars 75 And most surely it is a very great oath if you only knew; 76 Indeed, it is a noble Qur'an 77 in a Book protected (from tampering) 78 Which (that Book with Allah) none can touch but the purified (i.e. the angels). 79 A Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 Is it this discourse that ye hold lightly? 81 And you make its denial your share? 82 Then how is it that when the (dying) breath is withdrawn into the throat (and rattles), 83 And ye are at that moment looking 84 We are nearer to him than you, but you do not see 85 Why then, if ye are not in bondage (unto Us), 86 why are you then not able to bring them back to life if you are truthful? 87 Then, if he is one of the honoured, 88 (There is for him) Rest and Satisfaction, and a Garden of Delights. 89 And if one happens to be of those who have attained to righteousness, 90 'Peace be upon thee, Companion of the Right!' 91 But if he is of the rejecters, the erring, 92 For him is Entertainment with Boiling Water. 93 And burning in Hell-fire. 94 Surely this is the truth of certainty. 95 So glorify with praises the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
True are the words of God the Almighty.
