The Elephant (Al-Feel)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon) before Daybreak (Al-Falaq)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Have you not considered, [O Muhammad], how your Lord dealt with the companions of the elephant? 1 Did He not make their plan go wrong, 2 and send against them flocks of birds, 3 which smote them with stone-hard blows of chastisement pre-ordained, 4 So He rendered them like straw eaten up? 5

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
