۞ Have you not seen those who changed the Word of God through disbelief and led their people to destruction? 28 Gehenna, wherein they are roasted; an evil stablishment! 29 For, they claimed that there are powers that could rival God, and so they strayed from His path. Say: "Enjoy yourselves [in this world,] but, verily, the fire will be your journey's end!" 30 Say thou unto those of My bondmen who have believed, let them establish prayer and expend of that wherewith We have provided them secretly and openly, ere the Day cometh wherein there will be no bargain nor friendliness. 31 It is Allah Who created the heavens and the earth, Who sent down water from the heaven and thereby brought forth a variety of fruits as your sustenance, Who subjected for you the ships that they may sail in the sea by His command, Who subjected for you the rivers, 32 And subjugated the sun and moon for you so that they perform their tasks diligently; and subdued the night and day for your service. 33 And He gives you of all that you ask Him; and if you count Allah's favors, you will not be able to number them; most surely man is very unjust, very ungrateful. 34
