God shall surely admit those who believe and do righteous deeds into gardens underneath which rivers flow. As for the unbelievers, they take their enjoyment and eat as cattle eat; and the Fire shall be their lodging. 12 And how many a community of greater power than this thy community which has driven thee out, [O Muhammad,] have We destroyed, with none to succour them! 13 CAN, THEN, he who takes his stand on a clear evidence from his Sustainer be likened unto one to whom the evil of his own doings [always] seems goodly, and unto such as would follow but their own lusts? 14 Here is a description of the Garden promised to the righteous: therein are rivers of water which is forever pure; and rivers of milk of which the taste never changes; and rivers of wine, a delight to those who drink it, and rivers of pure honey. And in it they will have all kinds of fruit, and will receive forgiveness from their Lord. Can those who enjoy such bliss be like those who abide in the Fire and who are given boiling water to drink so that it tears their bowels? 15 And among them are men who listen to thee, but in the end, when they go out from thee, they say to those who have received Knowledge, "What is it he said just then?" Such are men whose hearts Allah has sealed, and who follow their own lusts. 16 But those who are rightly guided will be given greater guidance by Him, and they will have their intrinsic piety. 17 Await they but the Hour, that it should come upon them on a sudden? Tokens thereof are already come, so how shall it be with them when there cometh unto them their admonition! 18 Therefore, know that there is no god except Allah and ask for forgiveness of your sins and for the believers, men and women. Allah knows your going to and fro, and your lodging. 19
