AND IT IS We who have built the universe with [Our creative] power; and verily, it is We who are steadily expanding it. 47 We have spread out the earth, how well We have spread it out, 48 We created two kinds of all things, so that you will remember. 49 And so, [O Muhammad, say unto them:] "Flee unto God [from all that is false and evil]! Verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him! 50 Do not set up another god, along with God. I come from Him to warn you plainly. 51 Similarly, there came not to those before them any messenger except that they said, "A magician or a madman." 52 Have they handed this down from one to another? No, rather, they are an insolent nation. 53 (Muhammad), leave them alone and you will not be blamed. 54 But teach (thy Message) for teaching benefits the Believers. 55 I have not created jinn and mankind except to serve Me. 56 I seek no livelihood from them, nor do I ask that they should feed Me. 57 Lo! Allah! He it is that giveth livelihood, the Lord of unbreakable might. 58 The wrongdoers will meet the same fate as their predecessors, let them not ask Me to hasten on [the punishment], 59 Alas the woe for those who refuse to believe in the Day which has been promised them. 60
