Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

۞ Have We not opened forth for thee thy breast? 1 and relieved you of your burden 2 Which weighed down your back? 3 And did We not exalt your fame? 4 Surely with hardship there is ease. 5 Certainly, after every difficulty there comes relief. 6 So, when you are free, strive hard, 7 And to thy Lord turn (all) thy attention. 8
