We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And showed them the right path. 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
