Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Have We not opened forth for thee thy breast? 1 and relieved you of your burden 2 which had been a heavy weight upon your back 3 have We not given you high renown? 4 So indeed with hardship is ease. 5 Most certainly, there is ease with hardship. 6 When you are free from (your obligations), strive hard (to worship God) 7 And strive to please thy Lord. 8
