The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

The Striking! 1 What is the Calamity? 2 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Calamity is! 3 A Day on which human beings would be like so many scattered moths, 4 And mountains will be like flying wool. 5 Then as for him whose balances are heavy, 6 shall inherit a pleasing life, 7 And as for him whose measure of good deeds is light, 8 shall be engulfed by an abyss. 9 What shall let you know what the Plunging is? 10 (It is) a Fire which is extremely hot. 11
