We have set in heaven constellations and decked them out fair to the beholders, 16 and have protected them against every accursed satan 17 Except one who steals a hearing and is pursued by a clear burning flame. 18 And the earth We have spread out (like a carpet); set thereon mountains firm and immovable; and produced therein all kinds of things in due balance. 19 and there appointed for you livelihood, and for those you provide not for. 20 And there is not a thing but with Us are the treasures of it, and We do not send it down but in a known measure. 21 And We send the fecundating winds, then cause the rain to descend from the sky, therewith providing you with water (in abundance), though ye are not the guardians of its stores. 22 It is We who give life and We who give death, and We are the One who will abide. 23 We know the ones of you who press forward, and We know the laggards; 24 and, behold, it is thy Sustainer who will gather them all together [on Judgment Day]: verily, He is Wise, All-Knowing! 25
