And make mention in the Scripture of Moses. Lo! he was chosen, and he was a messenger (of Allah), a prophet. 51 We called out to him from the right side of the mountain, and drew him near in (Divine) conversation. 52 and We gave him as his helper, out of Our mercy, his brother Aaron, having made him a prophet. 53 And mention in the Book Ishmael; he was true to his promise, and he was a Messenger, a Prophet. 54 And he ordered his people to pray and to give charity and his Lord was pleased with him. 55 And make mention in the Scripture of Idris. Lo! he was a saint, a prophet; 56 We raised him to a high position. 57 THESE WERE some of the prophets upon whom God bestowed His blessings - [prophets] of the seed of Adam and of those whom We caused to be borne [in the ark] with Noah, and of the seed of Abraham and Israel and [all of them were] among those whom We had guided and elected; [and] whenever the messages of the Most Gracious were conveyed unto them, they would fall down [before Him,] prostrating themselves and weeping. ۩ 58 ۞ They were succeeded by a people who neglected the Prayers and pursued their lusts. They shall presently meet with their doom, 59 except he who repents and believes and does good works; those shall be admitted to Paradise and shall not be wronged in any way. 60 (They shall enter the) Gardens of Eden, which the Merciful has promised His worshipers in the Unseen. Indeed, His promise shall come. 61 They will hear no vain talk there, but only salutations of peace, and they will have their sustenance morning and evening." 62 That is Paradise which We shall give as an inheritance to those of Our servants who are godfearing. 63 And we do not descend but by the command of your Lord; to Him belongs whatever is before us and whatever is behind us and whatever is between these, and your Lord is not forgetful. 64 He is the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is in between. Serve Him, then, and be constant in serving Him. Do you know anyone that might be His compeer?" 65
