Say, [O Muhammad], "I am only a warner, and there is not any deity except Allah, the One, the Prevailing. 65 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Almighty, the All-Forgiving!" 66 Say: It is tremendous tidings 67 but you have turned away from it. 68 I had no knowledge of the higher Assembly when they discussed it among themselves. 69 Naught is revealed to me save that I am a plain warner. 70 Your Lord said to the angels, "I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 Then when I have formed him and breathed into him of My spirit, fall down before him prostrate. 72 So the angels prostrated - all of them entirely. 73 But not Iblis: he was proud and he was one of the unbelievers. 74 He said: O Iblis! what prevented you that you should do obeisance to him whom I created with My two hands? Are you proud or are you of the exalted ones? 75 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "I am better than he, You created me from fire, and You created him from clay." 76 He said: Then get out of it, for surely you are driven away: 77 Upon thee shall rest My curse, till the Day of Doom.' 78 Satan said: “My Lord, then grant me respite till the Day that they are raised up.” 79 Answered He: "Verily, so [be it:] thou shalt be among those who are granted respite 80 till the Appointed Day." 81 He said, “Therefore, by oath of Your honour, I will surely mislead all of them.” 82 Save Thy single-minded slaves among them. 83 He (Allah) said: 'This is the truth, and I speak the truth: 84 That I will fill Hell with you [Iblis (Satan)] and those of them (mankind) that follow you, together." 85 (O Prophet), tell them: “I do not ask you for any recompense for the performance of this task; nor am I given to affectation. 86 It, (the Quran), is nothing but a reminder to you from the Lord of the Universe. 87 And ye shall surely come to know the truth thereof after a season. 88
