Have you considered he who turns his back, 33 Gives a little, then hardens (his heart)? 34 Or, does he possess knowledge of the Unseen, and can therefore see? 35 Has he not been informed of what is in the Scrolls of Moses, 36 and of Abraham, who lived up to the trust? 37 To wit, that a burthened soul shall not bear the burthen of another. 38 That a man receives but only that for which he strives; 39 He will certainly see the result of his labor 40 whereupon he shall be requited for it with the fullest requital; 41 And that to your Lord (Allah) is the End (Return of everything). 42 And that it is He Who made (you) laugh and made (you) cry? 43 And that it is He Who gave death and gave life? 44 and that He Himself created the two sexes: male and female, 45 From a drop of semen when emitted; 46 and that it is for Him to grant the second life, 47 It is He who grants people temporary and durable wealth. 48 that He is the Lord of Sirius, 49 that it was He that destroyed ancient Aad 50 and Thamood, sparing no one, 51 And the people of Noah before. Indeed, it was they who were [even] more unjust and oppressing. 52 And the overthrown cities did He overthrow, 53 And covered them by that which He covered. 54 Which then of thy Lord's benefits wilt thou doubt? 55 This is a (Prophet) like that of the ancient warners (Prophets). 56 The Day of Resurrection draws near, 57 apart from God none can disclose it. 58 Do ye then wonder at this recital? 59 And will ye laugh and not weep,- 60 indulging in carelessly idle games? 61 So prostrate yourselves before Allah and worship. ۩ 62
True are the words of God the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Stars (Al-Najm). Sent down in Mecca after Absoluteness (Al-Ikhlaas) before He Frowned ('Abasa)

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
