Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have placed constellations in heaven and have beautified it for beholders, 16 And We have guarded it from every outcast devil, 17 Except the ones who listen on the sly, yet they are chased away by a shooting flame. 18 And the earth - We have spread it and cast therein firmly set mountains and caused to grow therein [something] of every well-balanced thing. 19 And We have provided sustenance for you on it and also for those of whom you are not the providers. 20 There is not a thing but its storehouses are with Us. But We only send down each thing in an appropriate measure: 21 We send the winds fertilizing, and We send down out of heaven water, from which you drink and you are not its treasurers. 22 And indeed it is We Who give life and it is We Who cause death, and We are the Inheritors. 23 And indeed, We know the first generations of you who had passed away, and indeed, We know the present generations of you (mankind), and also those who will come afterwards. 24 It is your Lord who will gather them. He is all wise and all knowing. 25
