Y S (Yaa Seen)
83 verses, revealed in Mecca after Jinns (Al-Jinn) before The Statute Book (Al-Furqaan)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
YA SIN. 1 I swear by the Quran full of wisdom 2 Indeed you, [O Muhammad], are from among the messengers, 3 On a path that is straight, -- 4 (This is) a Revelation sent down by the AllMighty, the Most Merciful, 5 [bestowed upon thee] so that thou mayest warn people whose forefathers had not been warned, and who therefore are unaware [of the meaning of right and wrong]. 6 The word has been proved true against the greater part of them: they will not believe. 7 Surely We have put on their necks fetters up to the chin, so their heads are raised; 8 And We have set a wall before them and a wall behind them, and covered the top so they are unable to see anything. 9 It is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them for they shall not believe. 10 You only warn he who follows the Remembrance and fears the Merciful in the Unseen. Give to him glad tidings of forgiveness and a generous wage. 11 Indeed, it is We who bring the dead to life and record what they have put forth and what they left behind, and all things We have enumerated in a clear register. 12
