We have made the heavens with Our own hands and We expanded it. 47 We spread the earth a carpet; what comfort We provide! 48 We created two kinds of all things, so that you will remember. 49 Flee therefore unto Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 50 And do not set up with Allah another god: surely I am a plain warner to you from Him. 51 Thus has it been (in the past): never did a Messenger come to the nations that preceded them but they said: “(He is) a sorcerer, or a mad-man.” 52 Is this the legacy they have transmitted, one to another? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds! 53 Turn away from them. You will not be blamed. 54 And warn, for warning profiteth believers. 55 And I (Allah) created not the jinns and humans except they should worship Me (Alone). 56 I desire of them no provision, neither do I desire that they should feed Me. 57 Verily Allah! He is the Provider, Owner of power, Firm. 58 And indeed for these unjust is also a turn of punishment, like that of their companions – so they must not ask Me to hasten. 59 So ruin is for disbelievers, from their day – which they are promised. 60
