Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 then raid by the dawn, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 Verily! Man (disbeliever) is ungrateful to his Lord; 6 And most surely he is a witness of that. 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 And there shall be brought to light that which is in the breasts? 10 Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
