Exalted is He who put constellations in the heavens, a radiant lamp and an illuminating moon -- 61 It is He who made the night and day an alternation for him who cares to reflect and be grateful. 62 And the servants of the Beneficent Allah are they who walk on the earth in humbleness, and when the ignorant address them, they say: Peace. 63 They are those who spend the night worshipping their Lord, prostrating, and standing, 64 And who say: Our Lord! Avert from us the doom of hell; lo! the doom thereof is anguish; 65 Lo! it is wretched as abode and station; 66 who, when they spend, are neither extravagant nor miserly but keep the golden mean between the two (extremes): 67 And those who do not worship any other deity along with Allah, and do not unjustly kill any living thing which Allah has forbidden, nor commit adultery; and whoever does this will receive punishment. 68 and on the Day of Judgment their torment will be double. They will suffer forever in disgrace. 69 except he who repents and believes and does good works those, Allah will change their evil deeds into good deeds; Allah is ever Forgiving and Merciful. 70 Those who repent and act righteously have truly returned to God, 71 And those who do not bear false witness, and when they pass by frivolity, they pass by with dignity; 72 And those who, when reminded of the verses of their Lord, do not fall upon them deaf and blind. 73 And they who say: O our Lord! grant us in our wives and our offspring the joy of our eyes, and make us guides to those who guard (against evil). 74 They will be rewarded for their perseverance with lofty mansions in empyrean where they will be received with greetings of peace and salutations, 75 Abiding therein; excellent it is as an abode, and as a place to dwell. 76 Say: 'My Lord esteems you not at all were it not for your prayer, for you have cried lies, and it shall surely be fastened.' 77
