The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the angels ranged in ranks. 1 and the scarers scaring 2 Then those who recite, being mindful, 3 your God is One, 4 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, and the Lord of the Easts. 5 Behold, We have adorned the skies nearest to the earth with the beauty of stars, 6 And have placed therein a guard against any satan froward. 7 they cannot overhear the Higher Assembly for they are pelted from every side, 8 They are rejected and theirs is an everlasting punishment; 9 Except such as snatch away something by stealing and they are pursued by a flaming fire of piercing brightness. 10 Ask them thou: are they stronger in structure or those others whom We have created? Verily We! We have created them of a sticky clay. 11 Nay, but thou dost marvel when they mock 12 and when they are admonished, they pay no heed; 13 and whenever they see some sign, they ridicule it, 14 And they say, “This is nothing but clear magic.” 15 When we have become dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then verily be raised? 16 Or our fathers of yore? 17 Say: 'Yes, and in all lowliness.' 18 There is but one Shout, and lo! they behold, 19 and will say: "Oh, woe unto us! This is the Day of Judgment!" 20 'This is the Day of Decision, even that you cried lies to. 21
