Saad 5 of 5
Say, [Prophet], "I am only a warner. There is no god but God, the One, the All-Powerful, 65 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, the Mighty, the most Forgiving. 66 Say: "That is a Message Supreme (above all),- 67 yet you ignore it. 68 “What did I know of the heavenly world, when the angels had disputed.” 69 I am told (about matters) by means of revelation only because I am a clear warner.” 70 When thy Lord said unto the angels: Lo! I am about to create a mortal out of mire, 71 So when I have made him complete and breathed into him of My spirit, then fall down making obeisance to him. 72 The angels fell down prostrate, every one, 73 But not Iblis: he was proud and he was one of the unbelievers. 74 Allah said: O Iblis! what preventeth thee from prostrating thyself before that which I have created with both my hands? Becomest thou stiff-necked, or art thou of the exalted ones? 75 (Iblis) said: "I am better than he: thou createdst me from fire, and him thou createdst from clay." 76 The Lord said, "Get out of here. You deserve to be stoned! 77 Upon thee shall rest My curse, till the Day of Doom.' 78 But Satan said, "My Lord, grant me respite until the Day of Resurrection," 79 (God) said: "You have the respite 80 Till the period of the time made known. 81 He said, "By Your Glory, I shall seduce all of them (children of Adam). 82 Save Thy bondmen among them Sincere. 83 (God) said: "This is right by Me, and what I say is right. 84 that I shall certainly fill hell with you and your followers all together". 85 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "No wage do I ask of you for this (the Quran), nor am I one of the Mutakallifun (those who pretend and fabricate things which do not exist). 86 It is naught but an admonition unto the worlds. 87 and you shall surely know its tiding after a while.' 88

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. (5) وقف المجاذبة أو المعانقة حيث يجب الوقف في أي من موضعين قريبين ولكن ليس كلاهما، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة تظهر في أحد الموقعين باحتمال النصف للنصف.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
