No, by the moon! 32 By the night when it departs. 33 And [by] the morning when it brightens, 34 surely it is one of the greatest things 35 a warning to humans, 36 whether one steps forward to embrace the faith or one turns away from it. 37 Every soul will be in captivity for its deeds 38 Except the Companions of the Right Hand. 39 In Gardens, they seek answers, 40 and will ask of the criminals, 41 "what led you into hell?" 42 They will answer: “We were not among those who observed Prayer, 43 And did not feed the needy, 44 and we plunged along with the plungers, 45 And we have been belying the Day of Requital. 46 till the Certain came to us.' -- 47 The mediation of no mediators will avail them then. 48 Then what is wrong with them (i.e. the disbelievers) that they turn away from (receiving) admonition? 49 As though they were asses startled. 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Indeed, each one of them desires to be given unrolled scrolls. 52 Nay! But they fear not the Hereafter (from Allah's punishment). 53 No indeed; surely it is a Reminder; 54 Let anyone who seeks guidance do so. 55 And they will not receive admonition unless Allah wills; He (Allah) is the One, deserving that mankind should be afraid of, and should be dutiful to Him, and should not take any Ilah (God) along with Him, and He is the One Who forgives (sins). 56
