Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By (the angels) sent forth with the commands of God, 1 Then by oath of those that push with a strong gust. 2 and the rain-spreading winds, 3 And by the Verses (of the Quran) that separate the right from the wrong. 4 and by those who reveal revelations (to the prophets) 5 To end all argument or to warn. 6 surely, that which you have been promised is about to fall! 7 So when the stars are put out, 8 And when the sky is split apart. 9 The mountains will be blown away as dust. 10 And when the apostles are collected at the appointed time, 11 For what day is that time fixed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what do you know, what the Day of Decision is! 14 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 15 Did We not destroy the ancients? 16 Then We will follow them with the later ones. 17 Thus deal We ever with the guilty. 18 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 Which We placed in a depository safe. 21 for an appointed time? 22 Thus We have determined the stages of development and Our power to determine is excellent indeed. 23 Woe, on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 24 Did We not make the earth a receptacle, 25 The living and the dead, 26 place on it high mountains and provide you with fresh water? 27 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 28 Depart to that you cried was lies! 29 “Move towards the shadow of the smoke having three branches.” 30 affording neither shade, nor protection from the flames, 31 it throws spits as (high as a huge) palace, 32 (Or) as it might be camels of bright yellow hue. 33 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 34 That will be a Day when they shall not be able to speak. 35 nor will they be permitted to offer any excuses. 36 On that day, woe would be those who have rejected God's revelations! 37 That is the Day of Judgement on which We have assembled you as well as all those who went before you. 38 If now ye have any craft, try that craft upon Me. 39 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 40
