Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the heaven shall be cleft, 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 and when the seas burst beyond their bounds, 3 And when the graves are overturned. 4 (Then) a person will know what he has sent forward and (what he has) left behind (of good or bad deeds). 5 O man! What has made you careless concerning your Lord, the Most Generous? 6 The One Who created you, then moulded you, then made you proper? 7 Into whatsoever form He will, He casteth thee. 8 Nay, [O men,] but you [are lured away from God whenever you are tempted to] give the lie to [God's] Judgment! 9 Yet over you there are watchers, 10 noble recorders, 11 They know whatever you do. 12 Behold, [in the life to come] the truly virtuous: will indeed be in bliss, 13 And most surely the wicked are in burning fire, 14 which they shall enter on the Day of Judgement, 15 And will not be removed from it. 16 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! 17 Again: what will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 18 A day when no soul shall possess aught to succour another soul; that day the Command shall belong unto God. 19
God the Almighty always says the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
