In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
ALIF LAM MIM. 1 This is the Book (the Quran), whereof there is no doubt, a guidance to those who are Al-Muttaqun [the pious and righteous persons who fear Allah much (abstain from all kinds of sins and evil deeds which He has forbidden) and love Allah much (perform all kinds of good deeds which He has ordained)]. 2 who believe in the Unseen, and perform the prayer, and expend of that We have provided them; 3 Who believe in what has been revealed to you and what was revealed to those before you, and are certain of the Hereafter. 4 They are on (true) guidance from their Lord, and they are the successful. 5 Verily those who have disbelieved, it is equal to them whether thou warnest them or warnest them not; they will not believe. 6 God has sealed their hearts and their ears, and over their eyes there is a covering. They will have a terrible punishment. 7
