Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
