▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur'an] 75 And verily that is a mighty oath, if ye but knew! 76 This is indeed the noble Qur’an. 77 In a Book well-guarded (with Allah in the heaven i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 78 None touch it except the purified. 79 a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 80 Then why do you dissimulate this Revelation? 81 And make denial thereof your livelihood? 82 Why, but when the soul leaps to the throat of the dying 83 and you are watching at that time 84 and while We are closer to him than you, although you see [Us] not: 85 why, if you are not at Our disposal, 86 do you not bring back his soul, if you speak truly? 87 And if the deceased was of those brought near to Allah, 88 Then happiness and bounty and a garden of bliss. 89 and if he be a Companion of the Right: 90 There will be the salutation by those of the right hand: "Peace on you. 91 But if he is of the deniers and the errants, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water 93 and the heat of hell fire. 94 Surely this is the truth of certainty. 95 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 96
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
