Al-Naba' 2 of 2

Surely the state of triumph awaits the God-fearing: 31 They will have gardens and vineyards, 32 curvaceous (virgins), of equal age 33 and cups full of wine. 34 They will hear therein no babble nor falsehood: 35 a recompense from your Lord, a gift, a reckoning, 36 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, the Beneficent Allah, they shall not be able to address Him. 37 The day on which the spirit and the angels shall stand in ranks; they shall not speak except he whom the Beneficent Allah permits and who speaks the right thing. 38 That Day is sure to come, so whoever wishes to, let him take the path that leads towards his Lord. 39 We warn you of a punishment that has come near; a day on which man will see what his own hands have sent ahead, and the disbeliever will say, “Alas – if only I were dust!” 40
