The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 who created and shaped, 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
