Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

The power of Abu Lahab will perish, and he will perish. 1 Neither his wealth nor his gains will avail him. 2 Burnt soon will he be in a Fire of Blazing Flame! 3 and so too will his wife who (threw thorns and firewood in the Prophet's way). 4 upon her neck shall be a rope of palm-fibre. 5

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
