The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the forenoon (after sun-rise); 1 and the night when it grows still and dark. 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 The reward in the next life will certainly be better for you than worldly gains. 4 For your Lord will certainly give you, and you will be content. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and then gave you shelter? 6 And found thee lost on thy way, and guided thee? 7 And found you in need, so made you prosperous? 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with harshness, 9 Nor repulse the petitioner (unheard); 10 and proclaim the bounty of your Lord. 11
