Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Gross rivalry diverts you, 1 Until ye come to the graves. 2 Nay, in time you will come to understand! 3 Again lo! presently ye shall know. 4 You will certainly have the knowledge of your deeds beyond all doubt. 5 you would see the fire of Hell. 6 and you will see it with your own eyes. 7 Then, on that Day, you will be called to account for all the bounties you enjoyed. 8
