The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Woe to every fault-finding back-biter, 1 who amasses wealth and counts it, 2 Does he think that his wealth will prolong his stay on earth forever? 3 By no means! He shall surely be cast into the crushing torment. 4 And what can make you know what is the Crusher? 5 It is the fire kindled by Allah, 6 which will rise over the [guilty] hearts: 7 verily, it will close in upon them 8 In extended columns. 9

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
