And lo! it is a revelation of the Lord of the Worlds, 192 The Trusted Spirit hath brought it down. 193 Upon thy heart, that thou mayst be (one) of the warners, 194 It has been revealed in plain Arabic. 195 And verily, it (the Quran, and its revelation to Prophet Muhammad SAW) is (announced) in the Scriptures [i.e. the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] of former people. 196 Is it not a token for them that the doctors of the Children of Israel know it? 197 And had We revealed it unto any of the non-Arabs, 198 and he had recited it to them, they would not have believed. 199 Thus have We caused it (the denial of the Quran) to enter the hearts of the Mujrimun (criminals, polytheists, sinners, etc.). 200 they will not believe in it till they behold the grievous suffering 201 But the (Penalty) will come to them of a sudden, while they perceive it not; 202 and they will say, 'Shall we be respited?' 203 Do they, then, [really] wish that Our chastisement be hastened on? 204 What thinkest thou? If We give them enjoyment of days for many years, 205 And then cometh that which they were promised, 206 what will it then avail them, the enjoyment of days they were given? 207 And never did We destroy a township which did not have Heralds of warning, – 208 as a reminder from Us: We are never unjust. 209 And it is not the Shayatin (devils) who have brought it (this Quran) down, 210 it is not for them, nor are they able. 211 Truly, they are expelled from hearing. 212 Therefore do not worship another deity along with Allah, for you will be punished. 213 And warn your nearest relations, 214 Lower thy wing to those who follow thee, being believers; 215 And if they disobey you, then say, "Indeed, I am disassociated from what you are doing." 216 And rely on the Mighty, the Merciful, 217 who sees thee when thou standest 218 And your turning over and over among those who prostrate themselves before Allah. 219 For it is He Who heareth and knoweth all things. 220 Shall I inform you, (O people!), on whom it is that the evil ones descend? 221 They descend upon every calumniator, sinner. 222 They listen eagerly, but most of them are liars. 223 Only the erring people follow the poets. 224 Have you not seen that they wander distract in every valley, 225 and how they say that which they do not? 226 Save those who believe and do good works, and remember Allah much, and vindicate themselves after they have been wronged. Those who do wrong will come to know by what a (great) reverse they will be overturned! 227
