And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We destroyed the rest [i.e. the towns of Sodom at the place of the Dead Sea (now) in Palestine].
