Therefor warn (men, O Muhammad). By the grace of Allah thou art neither soothsayer nor madman. 29 Or do they say: A poet, we wait for him the evil accidents of time. 30 Say (O Muhammad SAW to them): "Wait! I am with you, among the waiters!" 31 Nay! do their understandings bid them this? Or are they an inordinate people? 32 Or do they say: "He himself has composed this [message]"? Nay, but they are not willing to believe! 33 So let them bring a discourse like it, if they are truthful 34 Or, were they created out of nothing? Or, were they their own creators? 35 Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Nay, they have no firm belief. 36 Or do they have your Lord's treasures in their keeping? Or have absolute authority over them? 37 Or have they any stairway (unto heaven) by means of which they overhear (decrees). Then let their listener produce some warrant manifest! 38 Or, [if you believe in God, how can you believe that] He has [chosen to have] daughters, whereas you yourselves would have [only] sons? 39 Or askest thou (Muhammad) a fee from them so that they are plunged in debt? 40 Or do they have knowledge of the Unknown which they write down? 41 Or do they intend a plan? But those who disbelieve - they are the object of a plan. 42 Or have they a god other than Allah? Glory be to Allah from what they set up (with Him). 43 And if they were to see a piece of the heaven falling down, they would say: "Clouds gathered in heaps!" 44 Leave them then till they meet that day of theirs wherein they shall be made to swoon (with terror): 45 The Day when their guile shall not relieve them a thing, and they shall not be helped. 46 And indeed for the unjust is another punishment before this, but most of them do not know. (Punishment in the grave is proven by this verse.) 47 And be patient, [O Muhammad], for the decision of your Lord, for indeed, you are in Our eyes. And exalt [Allah] with praise of your Lord when you arise. 48 And in a part of the night exalt Him and after [the setting of] the stars. 49
