Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven shall be cleft, 1 And when the stars shall be scattered, 2 when the oceans are gushed forth, 3 and when graves are laid open, 4 Every soul shall know what it has sent before and held back. 5 O man! What has seduced thee from thy Lord Most Beneficent?- 6 Who created you, shaped you, and made you well-proportioned, 7 In whatever Form He wills, does He put thee together. 8 No! But you deny the Recompense. 9 And yet, verily, there are ever-watchful forces over you, 10 noble, writers 11 They know what you do. 12 As for the Righteous, they will be in bliss; 13 whereas the wicked will be in Hell; 14 They will enter it on the Day of Justice. 15 And never therefrom will they be absent. 16 And what do you know – of what sort is the Day of Justice! 17 Again, what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 18 (It will be) the Day when no soul shall have power (to do) aught for another: For the command, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
