Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Did We not widen your bosom? 1 and lift from thee thy burden, 2 Which weighed down your back? 3 Did We not exalt thy fame? 4 After every difficulty there is relief. 5 With hardship indeed there is ease. 6 Therefore, when thou art free (from thine immediate task), still labour hard, 7 And unto thine Lord, attend. 8
True are the words of God the Almighty.
