T H (Taa Haa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta. Ha. 1 We have not sent down the Quran unto you (O Muhammad SAW) to cause you distress, 2 But only as an admonition to those who fear (Allah),- 3 a revelation from Him who has created the earth and the high heavens 4 The Beneficent One, Who is established on the Throne. 5 To Him belongs what is in the heavens and what is on the earth and what is between them and what is under the soil. 6 If you speak loudly; He has indeed knowledge of the secret and the hidden. 7 Allah-- there is no god but He; His are the very best names. 8 (Muhammad), have you heard the story of Moses? 9 When he saw a fire and said to his wife, “Wait – I have seen a fire – perhaps I may bring you an ember from it or find a way upon the fire.” 10 But when he came close to it, a voice called out: "O Moses! 11 Verily I am your Lord! Take off your shoes. You are in the sacred valley, Tuwa! 12 I Myself have chosen thee; therefore give thou ear to this revelation. 13 Verily I am Allah. There is no god beside Me. So serve Me and establish Prayers to remember Me. 14 The Hour is coming. I almost conceal it, so that every soul will be recompensed for its labors. 15 Let none bar thee from it, that believes not in it but follows after his own caprice, or thou wilt perish. 16 What is that in your right hand, Moses' 17 He said, "It is my staff; I lean upon it, and I bring down leaves for my sheep and I have therein other uses." 18 [Allah] said, "Throw it down, O Moses." 19 So he cast it down, and lo! it was a serpent, gliding. 20 Said He, 'Take it, and fear not; We will restore it to its first state. 21 "Now - as another Sign - place your hand under your arm and it will come out sheer white without harm (or stain). 22 So We would show thee some of Our greatest signs. 23 Go to the Pharaoh; he has become a rebel." 24
