Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
